Finally, a plant I can't kill

This thing ain't scared of old brownthumbs. It always prefers the light I put it in. I haven't had to water it yet.
7 rings of 12 cherry segments. Plant is a 4" basswood spindle blank.
Dead flat lacquer on the pot, acrylic paints and gloss lacquer on the plant. Q tips cut down and glued in.
6" x 7 1/2 " tall.
Digging the scene with a gangsta lean, 5 degrees. First cut was 10 degrees, it was too wrong.
It's only mine til Christmas, then it goes home with somebody else.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Awesome! And easy to care for!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Not being a bowler, I'll restrict my comments to your foliage.

My garden weeds are like your cacti,

have wooden over so I need a chainsaw to cut them down.  Asked SWMBO (who is a gardener), "What type of tree that was?"... "It's a weed that has wooded over you idiot!"

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Great work!  The Q-tips were an inspiration.
Needs embedded sewing needles to teach every one the life lesson of cute, cuddly cacti!
You nailed the gangsta lean Hairy.

Pretty nice,  my kind of house plant.

Sorry, I forgot how to do the quote thing that includes who I'm quoting.
CRS strikes again.

I considered needles for a minute. I looked at cacti without needles, and liked this one.

Maybe next time?

Wow! That is so creative. I'm impressed.
Very nicely made Hairy ...The choice of words blend nicely....The green Colour of Cacti blends well with the Bowl.
