working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Hey Pottz.... thanks. I try. I'd like to make a couple of snipe bill planes next. Info on details is hard to find.
Now I see why some people have cabinets full of seemingly identical planes. Kinda like router bits, need one for every possibility!
You got that right SlinterGroup! It is sort of additive. I try to stick with what I need. Did I just say that?! Gads!....it is addictive. LOL.
Nicely done, they look great.
Thank you kindly MikeB_UK
Nice! Once you have all the ones you need you can start making the ones you might need🙂
Rick, you are a regular tool making machine. Another nice build.
Thanks Steve,  GeorgeWest, Gary G ! Cheers!!
Nice looking planes.  Why don't you post about how you made them on the wooden plane forum:

Wood planes of all types, we don’t discriminate!

I am curious about how you cut the wedge slot in the body.
RWE.... I'm relatively new here. Less than a month. Thanks for letting me know about the wooden plane forum. I'm still learning to navigate around in Craftisian.

I think they are Krenov sandwich style construction, so you can just saw the slot.
For a solid piece you would just chisel it out (optionally drilling a pilot hole)
Very good MikeB_UK. That's correct.
Beautiful planes, and the profiles created are just as beautiful. Great craftsmanship here, 👍👍
Thanks Oldtool! It's alot of fun and joy. And peaceful.
