That Pottzy keeps pushing his bowls down my throat with a greater fervour than his admonishment of my penchant towards Fe$tool… so in retribution, I thought I’d follow up my previous puzzle with this double threat treat.
I am using the title as a name for the puzzle that seems to be colloquially tagged as a Japanese Puzzle Box… any confusion is mine.
Unfortunately I came upon this design on the cusp of the LJ upgrade debacle and I decided not to post in and didn’t take my normal quantity of build pictures, however, I did make a couple of videos (linked below).
The “original” puzzle was plagiarised from this WEB site, (in particular, tagged Japanese Puzzle Box) and after following the bouncing ball, tracked down this document, which I imported into SketchUp,
Then it was off to the laser through Coreldraw (to create the graphics for engraving), to cut the pieces to be laminated, engraved and Timbermate backfilled,

Each box/puzzle has the same theme/genre, just different poses on each face.
Can't remember how many I've made in the past... these are just what's left over... they were desired, but I have a 1 freebie per customer policy... and they like another better.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
