Handy size!
Good looking bench, how tall is it?
Good looking bench. What’s the wood?

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

good solid looking bench ron. that ash is a nice wood. well done.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Guess I should have read a little more carefully! Ash it is…

Looks great.  Nice work.
Thanks everyone.

SplinterGroup - the workbench is 34" tall.  Made it the same height as my other bench.
Very nice Ron!  How is the Rockler QR on the end vise?  Do you have much slop or sagging?  I have a similar setup on my end vise with a different brand hardware that I'm very unhappy with.
Nice looking timber frame bench.
Real nice bench. I like the vises on both sides like that!!

HokieKen - This is my first QR vise. Tough to get used to the QR feature. I think I would have preferred a standard old time type vise.  It does have some slop that I didn't expect. Sag is maybe 1/8".

Jim Jakosh. I've since added a 3rd vise - a Benchcrafted Hi Vise. Now I've got enough vises. I'll try to add a pic of that.
Lookin’ good.
You do plans like I do. 👍🏼
Great looking solid bench Ron. I would be afraid of putting dings in it.
Great looking bench,    might be inspired to copy it for my shop.   Thanks for including the plans and details.

Gary G.  - Thanks - I read somewhere that hand sketches and notes are more effective than CAD / typing in that the creator absorbs more  from their own hand drawings than those created with a computer.

Fotodog -   Thanks - I have put some dings in it - those aren't too bad, but the spilled leather dye soaked in a bit.

Albert - Thanks - The only thing I can add is to plan your build keeping weight in mind.  I made mine mostly upside down on my old workbench, and presented an adventure when I when to flip it over. Luckily I had a dolly to flip it over on, but the total weight surprised me.

That is absolutely beautiful! A real workhorse for sure.

How did you attach the breadboard ends?  Allow for movement?

Petey

Ron,

Sorry I just saw the video.  So you screwed the breadboard ends on.  How will that allow for wood movement?  Is the washer on the screw smaller than the hole drilled?  You used no glue on the breadboard, just the screws?  I am thinking of a breadboard end on my bench build.
