Brother in law brought me some barn wood from his neighbor's old barn. Not sure if it's spruce, pine or fir - but it's old and soft.
Lightly sanded the boards, fastened the legs to the bottom shelf with 4" long screws and oak pegs. Mortised the legs into the top and fastened with 6" oak pegs. Finished with Annie Sloan wax.
nice table ron, love the patina on that old wood.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Love the grain, and the mill marks! Gives it a very rustic look. The dowel joint look on the bottom is also very fitting. Nicely done.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nice looking table! And you can park a truck on it 😀
I'm with Ryan on the appearance! Nice looking table design fitting in with the lumber.
Simple yet elegant Ron!  Love the grain and texture. Nicely done.
I agree with all!  Very nice table.
