Supplies Cabinet for the Park Shop

This is a cabinet I made to store all the supplies that I use for the machines in our park shop. I machined all the parts in Michigan and assembled it here in Arizona. The body and shelves are made from 1/2" Baltic Birch with the corners and the vertical back all lock mitered. The front frame and door are made from 5.8" Baltic Birch plywood. The handle and the lock bezel are  made from mesquite. It is 20" x 26" x 8" deep.

Problems with people “borrowing” your tools? That should slow them down, at least.

May you have the day you deserve!

Nice looking cabinet, job well done.
Yes good cabinet.

Ron

Thank you all fir rhe nce cmments.

Hi Dave, I don't have a problem with people taking tools but I made this cabinet for all the blades, belts and parts I put on the machines. I want to be the one installing them  so I have control over how they are installed and  can keep track of the inventory.

Nice looking cabinet Jim!
At first I thought it was metal, nice tight door fit and looks suited to keep the supplies where you expect them to be.
Thanks, Bruce. I put a flange around on the inside of the front frame to try to limit dust inside. It is very dusty down here especially when we the a big wind and a dust cloud a mile high!!(HABOOB they call 'em)

Ahh, got it, Jim. Good solution, and you should know where your spares are, and when it's time to reorder.

May you have the day you deserve!

"A place for everything" I believe that is a pretty long middle name, but darned if it doesn't fit perfectly between Jim, and Jakosh. I kid, but secretly wish I were as organized.
