Sister-in-law loves Tea. Made this Tea box from Matt Kenney’s ‘Build better boxes’ book. The grain wraps all the way around the base and carcase.
Never used Milk paint before but quite like how it looks and will probably use again in future projects.

Looks very nice.   She should be happy!

I like that a lot. I like how clean and modern it is, and how the dovetails add visual interest.

How big is it? What purpose does the large opening on the top right serve?
so how do i get on your gift list 😁 ron asked excatly what i was curious about !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Nice! Measurements?

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

I poked around Matt Kenney’s Instagram feed and found an answer to my question about the large opening. His photo shows a tall drinking glass (like one would use for iced tea) in there.
Great gift!  Nicely done.
Hi - large opening is 3 1/4” x 7 1/2”  - and about 3 1/2 deep
Very cool style and color
Very clean lines and I agree that that paint sets off just fine.
Wood looks like some darkened cherry?
Good looking tea box!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a great looking box!
Would you be able to snap a pic of it with something like a coffee mug next to it for scale?
