Custom Computer Desk

As I write this i await going to deliver this custom computer desk. This desk is for Carol.  She is an 80 year beautiful individual. She was scammed by another gentleman who claimed he was a woodworker and could build her a custom desk. He took the 400 dollars down payment and ran. After a year of Carol and her son trying to get the money back I was contacted by my neighbor and asked if I could build a desk for Carol and told me the story. I immediately said yes. After meeting Caol and getting her wants, and needs including her comfortable sitting height (she's 4'-11") i went off and collected all the materials and hardware . The finish height is 28 inches. The top is 24"x46" the base or heart of the desk is 22"x 44". There are 3 drawers. The top drawer is 3" with a 4" front face. 20 inches deep with soft close full extension drawer guides.
Center drawer is 5" deep with a 6" front face. 20 inches deep with soft close full extension drawer guides.
The bottom drawer is a file folder drawer . The drawer sides and back are 7" deep allowing to see the top half of the folders.  20 inches deep with soft close full extension drawer guides. The face is 12"
I used all quarter sawn lumber which showed off som great tiger grain on the top and drawer faces. I used modern hand rubbed oil bronze drawer pulls, file cabinet hardware from Rockler, and a 2 plug, 2 USB and 1 phone charger power strip which is round and installed in the top. I used an oil base stainand oil based polyurethane. I applied 3 coats on everything with sanding with 320 in-between coats and tack clothing.
This project took a total of 3 weeks two weeks of building and finishing and one week of just letting the polyurethane cure and harden before deliver.  Well thank you for visiting.
