While it seems trendy to regurgitate old projects for historical and (something to do instead of making new stuff) here is my Dust collector.
while it doesn't have any Fancy Dan level indicators fitted it works well.

(see Potzzys post regarding his system)

I first built it in May 2010 from 2 x paint tins some 90mm plastic pipe and a heap of silicone sealer.
One of the buckets kicked it due to UV intolerance but otherwise here it is today still working well.

Static shock:-

Well I can assure you its required in my situation as one day, I was emptying it and Wham Oh! ... I nearly did a back flipas a result,  then   revealing what it was after fact I didn't think a second one would be possible and continued emptying the bucket however yet again Zappo I got me again! ... so some conductive A/C tape was applied to prevent it happening again.

May be of some interest who knows.

P.S.
I am building stuff and have a couple of projects going but its so bloody hot I am staying indoors and hydrating instead.

Regards Rob

Thumbs up for longevity... though it may not win a beauty contest.

Sounds like you have a machinery conspiracy.... If I was you, I wouldn't stand on the back of your truck/ute after you use the dusty.

That grass needs cutting... who knows how many wallets you could find in there.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

You should have enough time then to fire up, Nadia...

Can be beneficial as one gets older to have a periodic defibrillation 🤠
As to the setup, what ever works and make you happy! Can't argue with function.
