Cabinet for "character Home"

I used some of the elements found in the house to tie it in. Tapered posts, dental moldings, matching crown angles etc. The floor was out 1/2" left. to right and there was a 1/4" panel glued to the wall so we shimmed out the appropriate areas with some 1/4" birch ply I had kicking around. Waiting on clients to decide on handles at the moment but they will likely be wood (open to suggestions on material, design etc). I like the bronze Craftsman style ones, personally

looks fantastic. a very unique design. what will it be used for ?

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

It's in the dining room so likely glassware, dishes etc in the storage areas and the middle will probably be used as bit of a serving station/bar

Nice custom cabinet.  I agree that bronze handles would be nice, but wood handles are always good too.
That is fantastic.  I thought clear dug fir for material.  What is it?

Yes, It is Douglas Fir... the whole house is done in fir although a lot of it is stained as walnut.
My local supplier was asking $300/ sheet for 3/4" ply and $200 for 1/4"...a bit insane! Especially as Fir is very local to me. So other than the backs and drawer panels, it is all solid wood (much of it recycled from old government buildings that were either torn down or renovated)

That's nice! Good clean DF can be made to look pretty good.

Wow! Amazing design and build. That will outlive the house.

I like the dental molding accent. Nicely done.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Thanks everyone. It was a fun build
