The tags indicate western maple and black walnut.
Great table, (sexy legs too)!

The grain of that maple is excellent, put on display where it can shine 👍
Thanks. It's western maple with walnut accents. The finish is a 2 part conversion varnish called Krystal. Whenever spraying that kind of finish I wet sand after. This was done with 1200 grit

Wood working feels so clean now! Wood dust is much nicer that metal dust, I have to say!
