Oak Stand or Cart

Requested design, more for a bookshelf, but makes a nice nightstand or a microwave cart. 32" high x 22" x 16" Milled out of 4/4 White Oak down to 7/8" stock. I used frame and paned construction for the side and back then glued up the panels needed, reinforcing the corners with Walnut splines. Natural Oak stain followed with multiple coats of polyurethan.

Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome.

Like the splines.   Nice design.   Well done.

Nice details with a classic design! I thought it's a night stand:)

No name noobie here

Steve, thanks. Yes, the new owner is happy, and I can see it being repurposed down the road a ways.

Ron, thanks. I am getting better at my splines, of course is does help having a good jig for the table saw.

Yrti, thanks. Classic desing, and built in an old-school fashion when furniture was built to last.

I agree with 987Ron, the miter splines look super, as well does the entire nightstand - microwave cart - book shelf. Did you make the molding?, or source it?
OldTool, thanks. Spline are becoming a staple in the shop whit the right sled/jig. As for the molding I made that in the shop.
