Nice! I like the exposed splines and the heart insert.
I like the profile, and really like the proud spline. Few questions...

How did you cut the hearts so perfectly?  That's a cute design.

Is the back slid into the bottom and then held with the smaller pieces on the top? Are those held with a screw or other fastener?
Have a frame to make, lots of good ideas from yours, thanks.

Ron

Steve, thanks. The spline jig I have makes it easy to cut the splines, them the bench vises hold well enough to finish the details. Routed everything after assembly.

Bard, thanks. The hearts were cut with use of a scroll saw, then filed smooth and routed a small round over. The back panel just slides in from the top into attached strips on the back (I used a trim nailer to attach the strips.

Ron, thanks. That is why we are here sharing our ideas and projects.

Good looking frames. Simple? Nah, some folks don’t get the miters tight and the proud splines are a nice touch.
Very nice frames Eric, all miters are tight, and I really like the miter splines - look super nice.
Gary, thanks. Tight miters are the key, and I have been using the Wedgie Sled.

OldTool, I like to re-enforce the miters.
