For my granddaughter

My granddaughter saw this practice box on my workbench and really liked it. So, I got around to finishing up the carving on the remaining sides and painted it some fun colors for her.
Carved in basswood with milk paints, flocking and a few coats of finish.

I was thinking that this was the best toy box of ever, but looking at the little rug under it, I guess it's not all that big. I like it!

That’s dang nifty Tom!
Beautiful Tom, very unique!
Very cool!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

What a great gift!  What are the general dimensions?
Thanks everyone and yeah that would be a cool toy box but it's on the smaller side 12 x 5 x 5 roughly.
Could you comment on the blue insert?  Is that an adhesive back lining?  Really makes the box look nice.
The blue is suede tex flocking... there's a color adhesive you brush on then a simple tube that you load with the matching fiber color and puff it onto to glue. Let it sit overnight and gently tap off the extra and it's done. Makes a nice clean finish and dresses up a box nicely
Thanks - I've seen that type of product used in some videos.
Don't do the flocking on your carpet or near your food though!
Very unique! Nice design.

That’s a very interesting box. I like the shape and colors. At first look, I thought it was made of clay.
Fun and festive, gotta love this box. Nice job Tom.
