Table saw fence tenoning jig.

I made this tenoning jig probably 10 yrs. ago for my Rigid 4512 TS to cut splines for picture frames. It's from a WoodSmith plan. It came in handy today to finish up some box lids. Since its adjustable it fit perfectly over my Shop Fox fence on my newer Grizzly RL 1023 TS. I was running the lids flat, up against the fence with a dado set up but it was leaving marks across the end grain-No way I was going to sand those marks out-Not to mention a little unsafe. I'm not sure when when the light went off in my head-yes sometimes that happens lol-and I switched to the tenoning jig. Nice smooth cuts and a lot safer.

Nice jig! Anything that increases safety is a good thing.
Nicely made!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nice!  I've not seen one with the adjustable aspect over the fence. I can see that would be good long-term.  Thanks for posting this.
Like it.  Need one at times.    May copy it.   Thanks.

Fence jigs are awesome. Almost always it's a perfectly straight line, made of metal so it will take a load, and pretty easy to configure. Plus using them is easier than the old hunk of metal tenon jigggs everyone used to use, and the sales of sagged quickly after the first versions of Homade fence jigs came along.
