My monumental microcosm
This was made as a challenge somewhere else, but I'm posting it here too.

The big challenge for me was the inlay. I didn't help myself , I used a forstner bit and a bandsaw.
This is a box. The top is held on with magnets, the base is threaded.
There is no applied finish, but plenty of wax.

That's a pretty creative project hairy!
First glance did not suggest "box" but with the $$ inside, guessing that was the plan.
Love the hard shell and soft inside full of goodies!
This is quite the deal. I hope it never catches on fire if the money is going to be in it!

That is pretty hairy hairy... but why no nationality (Finish)?
Taking nothing from the design, but something else that's monumental is cutting that circle freehand, without a circle cutting jig,
or was it photo shopped?... how'd you get the blade in there without an entry cut?
