Finally got the final pics. My Final Career ending job. The Kitchen is all Alder. Rain glass door panels. Blum Hardware. Maple Dovetailed drawers. Stained with a Pre-cat Lacquer Finish
I also made some floating shelves for the Fireplace Wall.

That's a gorgeous final project. (And the painted island no longer offends those of us who cringe at painting lovely wood.) Now we can expect you to have lots of time to post all kinds of projects. (They don't have to be as grandiose as the client projects, but we know they will all be spectacular.)

Outstanding work. Your craftsmanship will be missed out there. So all of your equipment has been rehomed? That must be a bittersweet feeling walking out on an empty shop?
Thank All of you for the kind words and well wishes. I'll still stop in once in a while, but probably will be a while before I get to any projects. Fitting a 2500' shop into a used 2 car garage had it's challenges. I did sell all of my 3 phase equipment, but kept pretty much everything else.
It is bittersweet. So glad to be getting the time to just not do anything for a while, and at the same time I will miss doing what I have always loved to do. Getting to see it as a hobby will take on a whole new direction that I'm looking forward to.
36x7? 12 more hours than I can fit in....But I get it.
Lightweightladylefty, I have never cringed when painting, to me it's just part of doing what you have to do, although I do get keeping the beauty of natural wood. I love nothing more than some solid wood with a natural finish. :)
Once again, Thank You All

i dont know about you bent but my last day i never looked back. and never will ! im not a person that dwells on the past. whats done is done and i look forward. what happened one minute ago is history. i hope your the same and move on past whats been done. if so you'll have a great retirement !

Bentlyj ..... 36x7? 12 more hours than I can fit in....But I get it....
Yep... I've adopted a 36 hour daily clock... that way I can sneak in another 12 hours of "honey do" items, and a few gratuitous ego chores before the body tells me it's time for ZZzzzs
