I made a Golden Fleece Matchbox Garage for the Community Fundraiser an icon Aussie livery.

I used my old plan which I have developed over the years, as I've now made between 30 & 35.

The base and garage roof are both 3/8" [9mm] premium grade ply from Bunnings while the walls are 7/8" [22mm] H/D Partial Board Flooring.

Thank goodness for Starboand CA which made the assembly so much easier on fixing the rooftop carpark 1/4" Tassie Oak edging.

The base and rooftop are glued with Titebond Original along with screw fixing.

The rear ramp joint is reinforced with pref-metal.

The decals are mostly photo copied pictures off the internet except for the "Cars Movie" stickers.

After the painting the whole garage has 2-3 coats of clear gloss lacquer.

 Something like a 15 - 20 hour project.

Nice work, very well detailed.
So cute! I'm a Starbond fan too - great products with superior customer service.
Great build for some kid to play with!

May you have the day you deserve!

Great build.   Wonderful details.

Cool! All those details make this a fun toy. The finish looks great as well!
Nicely finished and detailed!

You Aussies have some neat garages, rooftop parking (for the in-service vehicles?) and a helo pad for the boss!.
Around here the cars are just parked along a fence in the weeds. The taller weeds mean the car is still waiting on that "special" part until it becomes an organ donor
you did a beautiful job on this one.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

One or few lucky kids will enjoy like crazzy! Looks awesome!

Great build. Parking on the roof is great. Where are the match box cars? Maybe you could add guard rails.
