3D end grain cutting board "weave pattern"
I purchased the plans on line for less than 10$
Woods used Cherry, Walnut and maple.
Sizing the pieces is based on adding the two blocks that give the 3 d effect plus the short weave block. That tells you the length of the long weave block. Hope that makes sense.
This board is 22" x 16" almost 1 1/2" thick.
The plans came from Caleb's fine Woodworking.
You will need a drum sander, planer, table saw and Jointer. Glue with long set up like tite bond 3 helps when gluing up.

This board will go in an auction for the Gallisano Children's Hospital. A huge annual event in February. Red Sox Players come to play golf, foursomes are sold, a big dinner, and auction. We have raised over 30 million to date.
I made it for my wife, but she said put it in the auction, she plans to outbid the field!

might get costly petey ? if that board doesn't cost your wife at least 300 bucks people dont appreciate the cost and labor to make it ! and most people probably wont !

Cheaper to photocopy the plans, laminate it and put that on your kitchen bench.
