Humidor

Humidor

Finish is Rubio mono coat. (2 coats on walnut) brown synthetic pad in between coats.

12" x 9" x 7 1/2"

Walnut top, cherry sides, ebony splines and knob.

The lid has off setting dato (s) so they interlock into a 1/4" dato in the sides. So the lid as room to expand.

Bottom is Spanish cedar. I used a "shaker" door router bit , leaving 1/4" toung to fit into a 1/4 dato in the sides. The box is lined with Spanish cedar.

The Woodpeckers micro adjuster on the router fence was critical in getting the off setting dato ( s) fitted just right.

Brusso hinges.

Thanks for looking.

Looks great stitting on that table, gonna keep it?

Solid construction is apparent, like the way you fitted the solid panels for expansion!

C'mon Petey, you must have more in you than just two pickies between rounds of international golf courses.

With all these boxes posted lately, I better up my game with the puzzles.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
