This plane is made primarily of meranti. The main difficulty was to make the holes for the wooden dowels, so I had to build a JIG for them (See also the video from LBD). The number of parts is reasonable, and so is the build time. As usual, Alex did a lot of work, and the link to his video is below. Oh Yeah!!!!! I think this is incredible. I see my next project!!!!!! Whoop Whoop!!! Maybe out of blood wood. But not all Fokkers were red. ;-) (perhaps a Flying Circus squadron?) Alex. . . terrific video. The jig description will truly be helpful. great job!!!!!
