Citroën DS

.This Citroën was made in 2025, but I waited until now to put it on my website. He is made out of Ash, Merbau, Beli, Oak and Beech. The size is approx. 40 (L) x 18 (W) x 13 (H) cm. Normally there are always parts that can move in what I make, but this time it's only the wheels that rotate.
.LittleBlackDuck made a breakdown video, and as always, he checked my drawing for errors.
.In this model there are for sure some woodworking challenges. 😊

Thanks for watching! Comments are apreciated.

Wow! The grain on the body of the car is a great feature. Amazing project.
Interesting car, the model is better than the actual car.   Did a great job on the model.

Amazing work, as always! The grain just seems to flow along the body so perfectly.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Another terrific model from Dutchy.  This is really a nice design and the wood chosen just seems to make this flow.  you can almost feel the speed going down the highway.
What a stylish model!  Looks fantastic!
Thanks fellow Craftisians for the nice words.
The woodgrain is coincidentally.

Love the grain flow! Certainly adds another degree-of-difficulty factor in construction.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Beautiful car Dutchy! Choosing ash for the body is perfect. The grain really shows off the shape of the car.

Sure looks better in real life compared to the computer (screen)...

Errr, I take that back... I'm looking at a computer screen.

Nice choice of timber(s).

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
