Irish Pub Chair

This is a really laid back chair, about as comfortable as a wood chair can be.  I had a lot of fun making it.  I found the plans in a recent issue of Fine Wood Working.  The seat, arms and crest rail are elm, the sticks are ash.

Beautiful chair Bondo! What is the wood? It sure has some nice grain.

Now you need to take that chair and head off to the nearest Irish pub and park!

The woods used are elm and ash.  The seat, arms, and crest rail are elm; the sticks are ash.  As to why the pictures are sideways, I dunno.  Initially they were flipped upside down, so I went into my editing software and flipped them upside down, thinking that when I posted them they would flip right side up.  Instead they flipped sideways.  Being an old fart I have limited patience with fighting computers.

There are few projects more challenging than a chair. You've done an excellent job!
It does indeed look comfy, nice job Bondo.
Nicely done!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Well done Bondo.  Great looking chair!
Bondo,
Great looking chair, very nice work. A chair is the one project I told my family I preferred not to attempt, not sure why. Yours however, looks a great Guinness  hair.
As for the current technology, I agree, too complicated to learn at my age.
