I made these for my two boys last year using oak and some scrap pieces of mahogany. The only parts that I didn’t make were the uprights for the wings made from dowel. Everything else round I turned.

Yea Steve, the propellers were the hardest part, I seen simular planes online but they had flat props. I cut the angles on the band saw, shaped the centers on the lathe and did a lot of sanding.
