Pane & Simple

Hi Guys,

Well, I guess this idea speaks for itself, a glass topped box needing a locking mechanism!

It was once a classy watch box, but when I found it, it's velvet interior was damaged and needed to be ripped out and replaced.

The premise was to make a puzzle box that you could see all the workings, but that it wouldn't help much, haha.

I did get to use a bunch of 'bits an bobs' from my offcut bins though.

This particular project was inspired by my Skool page, requiring that I go all out just using the few systems that I have taught so far.

Lots of gravity pins, sliders and weighted dials, pretty simple really.

At the end of the day, its super fun to look at, maybe a desk or table piece, designed to draw folks in.

Anyway, too much fun finding boxes that already have a quiet appeal that invite more.

Create a beautiful day!

very cool kel, but simple, maybe for you but for me, ill just enjoy your builds 😁

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

These are so fascinating! The glass top makes me think I could solve it - but I doubt it😊
Neat...those must be fun to design and build!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a feast for the eyes.  I would love to see a video of it in action!

Hey thanks guys!
Here is a YouTube video, but no solutions, sorry.  In this puzzle realm, only the buyer gets the solution, that way its mystique is still there if they decide to resell one day.  It’s a funny world, but that’s how they like it, lol.
