Boys and
Girls,
Looks like we’re back into another packing puzzle that was created before the
Tangrams and related
“flatties”… OMG, it all seems like last years.
I have crapped on enough about these before and not being a masochist, I wont
inflict the burden of in-yazall face with in depth and wordy documentation to minimise the grey hairs on Pottz, but will toss in my dependence and love of,
… to indoctrinate/sublimate the world!... so popular it needs to be kept safe behind nars.
What’s this got to do with puzzles?... nothing, but Pottz hates Vegemite and is so diametrically opposed that I remember a time when I only used to wear Beatle boots,
and had to emphasise my stance… OOPS, was worried that I had one of a pair missing but then realised that foot was only a few mm that I could spare… but imperial lies and the boot was actually there on a recount…
What’s all this crap about?... I needed to buff out my post! A short blog will never be-long to a long one.
Made up the pieces from my collection of cubes,
However, for the box, chose to make (oops laser cut) out of solids
as opposed to my beloved MDF, using my mortice and tenon/box joint technique,
The puzzle only consists of 3 “pieces”,
however, it takes around 16 steps to solve... that’s why it’s a Palace and not a pussy to solve.
Used Aqua Coat on the bottom to be engraved to fill up the grain
that would trap some of the Timbermate backfill and potentially "contaminating" the engraving,
(or beat yourself up keying in that bloody long URL), and hopefully spruiking my entire collection to hopefully inspire another puzzle maniac,
The SketchUp model can be found at the 3DW,
If interested in any of mine (LBD), measurements can be made available on request for anyone not familiar with SketchUp… though a working knowledge of SketchUp’s navigation (as opposed to its design/use features) and access to 3DW could be of benefit.
All the solutions to my puzzles can be found at
this link...

Measurements and further details can be provided on request. *** Christmas is now past, but the next is coming and puzzles make a great
stocking stuffer... for all ages.
Kids love ‘em and most of us are still kids.
Thanks for looking.
