Froggie Box

Saw these many years ago in some publication.   Forgot wich one.   Finally got around to making a couple.
3 1/2" tall x 4" wide at the base, and 1 1/2" thick.
Used some scrap wood one being walnut, other unknown.   Cut all the pieces out on the old Delta Scrollsaw sanded by hand and a Dremel.
Finish is Minwax Antique (no longer made by Minwax) wipe on poly, 3 coats.
Like how they turned out.    Have not done Marquetry in the past.

That's so cool! I like froggies. There are many of small ones where I used to stay for summer when I was a kid. Still, whenever we visit there, we play with them, haha.

No name noobie here

Cute Ron! Mini bandsaw box.
Mas, is that just a pup or the Alpha of the herd?

Careful, it could rip your lungs out! 🤠

Great Dremel work 987... burr, sand, both or other?

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Thanks,  Dremel  used with sanding drum.    More hand sanding than Dremel.

Ron

The coolest box ever!
