Saw these many years ago in some publication. Forgot witch one. Finally got around to making a couple. 3 1/2" tall x 4" wide at the base, and 1 1/2" thick. Used some scrap wood one being walnut, other unknown. Cut all the pieces out on the old Delta Scrollsaw sanded by hand and a Dremel. Finish is Minwax Antique (no longer made by Minwax) wipe on poly, 3 coats. Like how they turned out. Have not done Marquetry in the past.
That's so cool! I like froggies. There are many of small ones where I used to stay for summer when I was a kid. Still, whenever we visit there, we play with them, haha.
