Boys and Girls,
I'm sure yazall wake up and eagerly logon here hoping for a new puzzle on CN... TA DA!
Drawing a long bow,
I thought I’d let loose my sensitive side and prove to yazall that I have fillings,
dental fillings,
In the long distant past (4 years ago), my sojourn into puzzles involved jigsaws and by unpopular requests, I succumbed to creating a few to appease the grumpy parents of pseudo-pubescent toddlers.
As all the younguns seem to love Unicorns, after surfing the net, I found these two patterns that I felt worthy of morphing into laserable jigsaws,
Forgive my mercenary approach, I only have copies of the mini puzzles with the large puzzles having been gifted and I have not stockpiled what I may not be able to distribute.
I apologise for the clarity of the small MDF sizes but I’ll rely on the above print images speak for the visualisation of each puzzle. The one on top measures 60mm x 42mm whikle the one below is 65mm x 45mm. The pieces are 6mm thick with the base 3mm.
The normal sized puzzle is approx. A4, which is less of a challenge in solving.
This monogramed cutesy uni’, in A4 size,
was well received by a hospitalised recipient... tear stains prohibit me from posting the blurred picture... seriously, it was better received than I could have ever imagined.
Lacking a sample of a larger on of this puzzle, I need to magnify the happy snap to make it visible.
One of the features of my “mini” versions is not MDF rot, but push holes on the reverse side,
that are aligned with the pieces to permit push through using a tooth pick in cases where a wrong placement is made.
Now I had the choice of printing a large one to pose with pictures, or tackling a small one,
my loupies came to the rescue… the question was which one to use,
I'll let you ponder my black decision.
Damn, I should have printed 100 large ones off. The pieces fit well, but the eyes…
thank the gods for zoom in a camera... I’d hate to have timed the solution… fortunately I had a computer screen to refer to,
Being a jigsaws, the solution is no
Einstein contribution, however, anyone with the intention to put happiness into a
youngun’s life, my collection of
Animal Puzzles can be
found here. The
CorelDraw (and thereby the compatible downloadable freebie
Inkscape that will process
Coreldraw) models are downloadable from the link, to create
SVGs for
lightburn burns… or if you’re a gun scroller.
If no other time, when Christmas comes, puzzles make a great stocking stuffer... for all ages.
Kids love ‘em and most of us are still kids.
