While waiting for some epoxy blanks i poured to fully cure i thought id use up some i got from my good friend keebler (keebs) awhile back. Not sure what the embedded wood is, looks like maple probably ? The wood had a lot of tear out that needed some CA assistance. Turned then sanded down to 800 grit then wet sanded with Micro Mesh and finally some plastic polish. Ive done some of these before. They make good gifts.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
You have to bribe a friend for the blank, buy a drill press for the tube and a lathe, chisels, mandrel, bushings, 800 grits of sandpaper. CA, heaps of micro-mesh, and probably an assembly kit... a_n_d let's not forget the kit... yet you have a go at me for buying a tools that does all the work for me, while I sit back and sip on my vino. Lucky I didn't lumber you with planting the seed and waiting for the tree to grow.
However, I'll be generous and give you, an "E" for Effort!
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
