Huge Bubble Maker

I had the two great granddaughters over today and I just happened to finish a couple of bubble makers and a few bottles of bubble making solution. I guess the kid is coming out of me in my old age but I could never do this as a kid. I saw this on You Tube and asked McKinlee if she'd like me to make one and she was all excited. The girls had more fun chasing the hundreds of bubbles than making them. I had fun making them!!!!!
I'll post the recipe for the solution below.
The huge bubbles are made with a loop using a coat hanger and cotton clothesline pulled over it. You first have to pull  the two center cords out of the clothesline and then fish the coat hanger back through it. Form a loop and then twist the wire together, off set it and I made a  wooden handle for each of them ( qualifies as woodworking). Earlier I bought a new oil drip pan at the resale shop for 2 bucks and it was just perfect for the loops. the cotton over the wire holds a lot of solution and I got as many as 7 big bubbles off one dipping!
Here are some process shots:
Here is the recipe for the solution:
1 Cup distilled Water
1Cup Dawn Dishwashing soap
1 Tbl.  Baking POWDER
1 Tbl. J Lube
Mix well and let sit over night.
Pour above solution in a bucket with 1 Gallon of distilled water and mix well.
It is ready to go!!!!!
lf you kids out there are like me, you  will love it  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice idea for the great granddaughters, or any children - including thr child in all of us. 👍
Be great fun for all of us kids.

Thus may be one of my most favorite of your projects! What great memories have been made.
Thanks Steven and Barb!!!
When we get a little breeze, I go out on the deck and sent a hundred bubbles over  the houses until they hit something!

WOW....this monster is alive...!!

Thanks, Ivan. I get that out almost every day when the sun is off the deck. Some of the big bubbles go over the house and across the road.
