Twospoon

When I'm baking these are the two measuring spoons ( Tbl. and Tsp.)   I always use. I usually  have to hunt for them in the misc. slot in the kitchen drawer so I had a dream about a double ended spoon that had them both on it and here it is. It is 5 5/8" long and 1 9/16" wide and made from cherry. It spent a little time on the lathe to get the handle and the rough shape. It is finished with Danish oil and clear lacquer.

Thanks, Guys !!!!!
Hi  Larry. I used some metal measuring spoons for guides. I drilled out the center of each one of these spoons with a big drill to establish the depth. Then I used a ball cutter on a Dremel to hog out the shape and used those metal spoons to calibrate  both spoons with a flat , up to the top ,measure of powder. I went slow and snuck up on it so I did not make it too big. I can't wait to use them !!!! I only need these two because if it is a 1/4 or 1/2 measure. I estimate using the full spoon and have not messed up anything using that method so far.

yeah i agree those two measurements cover 90%  of what you need and the rest you can guess.

Interesting, just the other day I was on Amazoo looking at a metal version of this. I had never seen them before. Couples the 2 sizes I use the most. Nice build.
