A James Krenov inspired cabinet on stand.

Walnut base and doors. Doors are book matched as well as drawer front. Case is Cherry.

Case and drawer is dovetailed by hand.
The back is  curly maple "raised to fit in a dado. The inside of the back has been dyed green w Transtint. Knobs are solid brass. The "feet" are solid brass made from brass bar stock, 1/4" thick 2"x2" with 1/8" bar around 2 edges.

The legs were shaped on the router table with a flush cut compression bit using a template I made.

Size 54" high on stand. Cabinet is 21" high by 11" deep by 16" wide.

Door frame is book matched.

Top of the base has a  Chamfer to provide a visual between the base and cabine .

Finish is Rubio Monocoat.

The door panels were rubbed w Aqua Coat ( thanks Spliter), then top coat of wipe on poly.

I filled a large knot with epoxy because I liked it.

Thanks for looking

Good looking cabinet.   Dove tails and all other detail work very nice.   Nicely done, finished out excellent!

final project is fantastic. great work on the dovetails and i love you left the big knot on the side, most woodworkers would have never used it.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Love it Petey!
Fits in nicely with those unique side pieces!
Very nice!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".
