Baltic Birch Trivet

My granddaughter asked me to make her a trivet for her larger serving pan and this is what I came up with. It is made with 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood and I made it as light as possible. It is 7" x 8 1/2" and finished with Danish oil. I dreamed about that pattern last night and went to shop first thing to  lay it out!
