Desk lamp from birch branch.

Hey I was also thinking about drilling a long hole for a lamp cord for my pallet project. How did you do it? I couldn’t figure out a way and mine would be far less complex with more room for error. No twists or turns, just long.

I used an very long electricials drill and drilled from the top and the bottom but the drill kept getting very hot.
Propably not the best idea.

Brian & Alex, I bought 2 – 13" extensions with an Allen set screw, I join them together if needed & I use a 7/16 spade bit.
The dust doesn’t clog up like a twisted bit and cause heating .
