This is one of three chests built from a log I had milled up. This one has a book matched lid and matching raised panels. The secondary wood is aromatic cedar. The finish is four coats of tung oil and wax.

Dovetail joint on the stile and rail?
That book matched lid is something else.

Thanks, I liked the lid on this one best. Arched raised panels and dovetails just sounded like a good idea until it came around to assembly time.Won’t do that again. lol
