For Christmas I gave my 10 year old grandson Rune an aquarium. One of his fish, a Google eyed gold fish, died while he is visiting us. He was very sad so he asked if we could make a memorial for the fish.

He did the drawing which he glued to a redwood board.

I did the cutting while he did all the glueing and sanding. The cutout fish was raised on some dowels to give a 3-D effect.

He is very proud of the result and the fish lives on.

Tor and Odin are the greatest of gods.

Well done Grandpa !
You can’t replace the lost fish but keep the memory alive and it is great that you both worked on this together as there is no better way to spend some time with a Grandson .
