chainsaw work
Spent the afternoon doing some chainsaw work and my little buddy got his new saw and ran it all day too. The finish brings out the color but these pics are before i added urethane. Did a colorwash on the address sign. Paint/water mixture so it adds color but can still see wood through it. Thanks for looking.

The boy has skills. Good job. Think what he will be doing after some more practice. Always impressed with chainsaw work and the fact he is just starting out, even more impressed.

The one that my son is pretending to carve is about half done. I will post more pics of it later. It will be colorwashed also. Was thinking birdbath but the way its splitting im thinking just plain statue instead. My son garrett wants to help every chance. He didnt put his toy chainsaw down at all yesterday and even slept with it.
