Simple Hexagon Boxes from reclaimed pallet wood

Have a craft show this weekend and added these hexagon boxes to take with me. The bodies of the boxes are oak and the tops are poplar. One box stained with minwax Golden Oak and the other is Red Mahogany. Both have a glossy polyurethane finish. Just a quick project. I particularly like the Red Mahogany because the light makes the top grain dance. Pretty cool.

Some great little boxes that are quick to build. There is a box swap posted over on forums, if you're interested in participating, they are a blast.
