Reclaimed Cherry Soap Tray

Been away for a while working on some repeat orders and utility projects. Took a quick break from a current project this morning to make this small soap tray from a scrap of reclaimed 85+ year old cherry. Finished off with butcher block mineral oil to seal it up. This the reason I tend to hoard scraps. The last photo show the end-grain of the scrap, the scrap block, the empty tray, and then the tray serving it’s purpose.
