I haven’t posted much here or on the “other” place in a while so I figured I’d throw this up.
There was a closet here and it was just a clutter collector for the home owner. (Meaning her kids just threw stuff in…lol).
So…tear out closet header and side walls, a little framing, some drywall and mud, and presto….no more closet.
Add bench unit with full extension drawers, bench “surround” with corbels and coat hooks, and top cubby unit with some trim.
Mostly poplar with mdf panels, lacquer base coat with two matte clear coats.
Now to re-train the kids…….not my job! I have my own to deal with.
Involve your kids and grandkids. They'll love you for it!
