Maloof style Elegant Rocker

Cherry Rocker I built for my Daughter.
This project has been on my bucket list for some time it was such a joy to build. I learned some new techniques in joinery with the Maloof joints. I used the Scott Morrison plan and templates a piece of cake. The Rocker is constructed from Cherry with Black Walnut accents in the rockers, risers and where the screws are used on the legs, arms and headboard. There is a lot of sculpturing to be done on this chair which defines the character of the finished product. The finish is Tong oil, Maloof finish oils and a final wax. Any dust particles I could feel after the finish dried I burnished with finish wax and 0000 steel wool the finished chair is smooth as glass with a Satin sheen ,my Daughter loves it, hope you like is as well. Thanks for looking
