This latest box is made from rift sawn white oak and walnut. Features are oak and walnut laminated construction that gives this box a unique look and contrast with the lid in a closed position. Also features angled corner keys made from walnut. Lined in ivory velvet and finished in satin lacquer

Nice look?? A few questions for you? I use copper wire as a hinge pin. What is yours? And you called it rift sawn? The lid opened up looks like quarter sawn? Just wondering. Thanks.

Narinder thank you! I use 1/8” solid brass rod. The annual rings on the lid does look more like quarter sawn than rift. The lid and box were made from the same board purchased from my supplier as rift sawn.
