Herringbone Coffee Table

Made from solid walnut and maple this was one of the more challenging glue ups I’ve ever done. Slow and steady as they say, I worked 2 or 3 rows at a time until I was done. The base I custom fabricated from square tube steel and sits a full inch below the surface of the table to create the illusion that the top floats above it.
