Dress (Infant)

I saw this pretty little dress and it reminded me of a watermelon and so I attempted making it.
The green I chose, should have been brighter to create the “watermelon” but, as it is, I still like it.

Pattern: "Crochet Supernova ":http://crochetsn.blogspot.ca/2014/07/lil-slice-of-sweetness-dress-free.html (thank-you for posting this free pattern)
I changed it a bit (besides any errors that I made) for the black, since I used some leftover black that I had, which was that bumpy yarn that is hard to work with, I did just three stitches in the space instead of working within the stitches.

Crochet Hook: I used a 5mm and a 6mm
Yarn: Red Heart Soft Touch: pink, green and leftover pieces of white and the black/grey

Now to wait til I see my granddaughter again to see if it fits .. if not, I’ll be putting it on the cabbage patch doll I guess.
Oh.. and total time to make it: 5 hours
