Searching the net for xylophone, I found another music instrument that can be a nice woodturning project. Tik-Tok clappers. or rattles. They are usually made in pair and out of timber, simply oval hollowed balls contain small stones or anything can make noise when they are shook by attached handles . I enjoyed making them and thinking to make another pair soon.

Brian, you can put anything that makes noise. I put some small gravels before I close the two halves . The middle ring was left over from another project .
Mike, my problem is I’m not a musician and I don’t know how to play the instruments I make.
