This is a rifle chest I built for a brother of mine from the 173rd Airborne. It could hold 4 AR’s, ammo, and assorted cleaning supply’s. I hand cut the dovetails and used red oak with some walnut for some contrast. Turned out pretty nice!

That’s very attractive; wonderful workmanship! Is that woodburning on the inside lid?

You wouldn’t have to worry about someone like me stealing it. I couldn’t lift that chest empty, much less with the rifles and ammo!
