Box spline sled

Just about finished this. It’s a jig for putting edge splines in boxes. I am awaiting knobs to put stops on the edge of the front. It’s made from scrap oak and scrap oak plywood 3/4". It works very well.

Hmmmm. I like this. I could see it’s adaption to the router table. Good job!

Simple and elegant.

I made one too.

I am not sure where you are going to use the knobs but I will wait for the finished version.

The piece of end grain plywood that sticks out 2" on the 45. I will make a couple of “U” clamps to fit around the 3/4" and put the knob thru the top of the u with blind nuts on the back of the u. It will be like a big C clamp sort of, they will be able to slide the whole width and compress the piece holding it in place. The first pic shows the wood that the “U” will fit onto.

I like the idea of adjustable stops. Gonna have to buy more plywood, so I can make one of these. :-)

Nice job. There have been a few of these posted lately. It’s great when that happens so the next guy can take the best of all the designs. Continual improvement. I know I would have done mine differently if I saw these others first.
