I just found out about this site and just joined. I have a workshop in my 2 car garage. When I bought our new house 3 years ago I told my wife the house was hers but the garage was mine. I have spent the last 3 years collecting tools and getting my shop set up. Have made several baby beds for some new Grandkids along with some Christmas gifts for them to, including a couple of Walnut Rocking Horses and a couple of Wooden Trains. Just finished a new Nail/Screw Cabinet to help get some of those things more organized. Slowly getting things together and still have several tools that I need to get, but then who doesn’t. Look forward to hearing about everyone’s project and seeing what all of you are doing. Time to get back to work, talk to everyone more later.
welcome.
I said the same thing to my wife 7 years ago. The agreement lasted until I bought her a new car…

Welcome to WW your thoughts about putting your shop together is spot on in my opinion.

Lanwater I know what you mean about the new car, she tried it but I held firm. :)
Howdy and welcome! I move my wife’s car out of the garage when I work on projects. But at the end of the day, the shop gets cleaned and her car is tucked back in.
