I need a boring bit. I want one that is so boring I forget how easy it is to use it. I’m tired of the excitement caused by my cheap drill bits that start wandering all over creation. Those are loser bits. I want a winning bit. I want it to win so much I’m going to get bored of winning.
OK seriously, I do not know where to find a brad point boring bit that is at least 6" long and fluted the whole length. One for boring wood in very boring straight lines. Must be 1/8" or 5/32" max. And I just want this single bit, not a set of many sizes. I plan to buy 2.
Anyone know where to look?

Alternatively, if someone has a set of these with no use for 1/8" size and is willing to sell that one bit to me, I would be very interested. Thanks in advance for considering it.

Brian try these. I love them. Rather boring post.

Thanks. I actually looked at those. I scoured Amazon. I would prefer a single bit versus a set, because I want a couple 1/8" and I don’t want to buy multiple sets. I know it will break sooner or later. I’ll probably pick up this set if I can’t find what I’m actually looking for.

It might be cheaper to buy a few sets of the ones above, but you could check out these at MCS:

A dear friend is sending me one. So it looks like I’m covered for now.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Can you share a link? Maybe I can find a US distributer.

You could look here Brian,
and possibly “read and weep” as I bought them in Australia.
No doubt ebay would be worth a check out.
However if they are what you are needing:-
Hardware for Creative finishes

Thanks.
