FFF technology is a fusing method, wood does not melt…

Beautiful none the less. It’s amazing what 3D printing can do.
It opened the door to almost everyone to prototype or print real and unique object.

Yes, I know that it’s not a real wood, I was just impressed how amazing it looks.

This 3d printing is going to boggle our old fashioned minds in a generation or 2. They will become commonplace in homes or maybe as kiosks where you can get any internet purchase printed on the spot. Want a new table saw, sneakers, kitchen or baby toy? Just purchase the plan and print it at home. I think this is going to be bigger than the way cell phones have revolutionized society. We, as artists, will become obsolete. Our skills will disappear like so many craftsmen 100 years ago and the cutting boards and table lamps we make that are taken for granted today will get built only for the nostalgic wealthy.
